Product Overview

Eclipse AirHeat is a line-burner family for generating large volumes of heated process air. Rather than concentrating the heat at one firing point, the burner extends along a line within the air-heating section. Manufacturer-listed applications include ovens, dryers, fume incinerators and similar industrial equipment.

Packaged AirHeat assemblies carry a combustion-air blower on the burner’s steel case. Supplying the burner with its own air volume and pressure supports operation across a range of duct velocities. Blowerless arrangements are also available for specified recirculating-air applications, so the required combustion-air arrangement should be established before selecting the version.

Line Heating and Equipment Integration

AirHeat v1 and v2 are separate versions with their own documentation. The v2 design offers duct, slot-firing and sealed-flange mounting arrangements, along with direct-spark ignition and pressure connections for setup. These choices help coordinate the burner with the heater enclosure, but they do not make different versions interchangeable without checking the mounting and services.

01

Dry-off and curing ovens

AirHeat is used to heat the airstream circulated through drying and curing equipment. Burner length and placement are selected with duct dimensions and the mixing space downstream. The oven’s circulation system then distributes that heated air to the process.

02

Textile, food and ceramic drying

The official AirHeat application listing includes these drying duties. A line arrangement can suit equipment needing a distributed heat source across its air passage. Selection must establish airflow, temperature rise and whether the process uses fresh or recirculated air.

03

Fume-incineration equipment

The manufacturer also lists fume incinerators. For this duty, AirHeat supplies heat within a designed treatment system. The stream composition, combustion-air arrangement and required chamber conditions must be reviewed; the burner alone does not define the treatment performance.

Choosing the Configuration

v1 uses model-specific capacity data; v2 is also rated by active burner length. Keep the two versions separate when checking dimensions and temperature limits.

Product FAQs

Selection, supply and retrofit guidance for your AirHeat v1 / v2 project.

AirHeat v1 / v2 selection

How do I distinguish AirHeat v1 from AirHeat v2?

Confirm the generation from the complete model identification and its matching documentation. Dimensions, assembly options and the basis used to describe burner capacity need to be checked for that version.

For a replacement, send the nameplate and overall assembly photos. For a new project, state the intended generation if already specified; a v1 drawing should not be treated as a v2 mounting reference.

Is burner length enough to size an AirHeat installation?

Active burner length is one input, but the applicable firing rate and installation depend on the selected version and process conditions. Duct airflow, temperature and the fresh-air or recirculation arrangement also matter.

Provide the duct dimensions, airflow range, inlet and target outlet temperatures, fuel details and the required duty. Include a sketch of the proposed burner location so length and layout can be reviewed together.

Supply & retrofit

What should be included in the quotation?

Identify the AirHeat generation, active burner length and assembly arrangement in the enquiry. Any required blower, fuel train, ignition, flame supervision and controls should be stated explicitly.

The quotation should distinguish the burner assembly from duct modifications and wider air-handling equipment. The dimensional illustration on this page is a specific v1 reference, not a universal package specification.

What information helps assess a retrofit?

Send the full burner identification, length and section arrangement, mounting photos and a duct sketch. Include fresh-air and recirculated-air conditions, airflow range and the existing heating duty.

Available P&ID and electrical drawings help clarify the fuel train and air-handling interlocks. If changing between generations, mounting dimensions and operating requirements must be checked rather than assuming a direct replacement.

How are price and lead time confirmed?

Price and lead time depend on the selected configuration, supply scope, quantity and delivery country. Include any planned shutdown date so current availability and the required delivery date can be discussed before ordering.

What if we do not have all the technical information yet?

Start with the application, whether the installation is new or a retrofit, and any model details or photos you have. Mention available P&ID or electrical drawings in the enquiry and share them by email during follow-up.
