Eclipse ImmersoJet is a nozzle-mixing burner that fires through a small-diameter immersion tube in a liquid-heating tank. Combustion gases move through the tube at high velocity and transfer heat through its wall to the surrounding liquid. The liquid remains outside the combustion-gas path.
The combustion chamber is positioned outside the tank, while the tube provides the heat-transfer surface inside it. This arrangement can reduce the space occupied by the heating system compared with larger-tube designs. Packaged and remote-blower configurations are selected with the tube geometry, heat duty and available installation space.
Select the Burner and Tube Together
ImmersoJet performance depends on the complete tube circuit, including its diameter, length, bends and exhaust resistance. The liquid also matters: high local heat flux can be unsuitable for certain solutions, and the manufacturer gives special guidance for phosphate baths. Tube material and the permissible heat release must therefore be established from the bath chemistry, rather than inferred from tank volume alone.
