The Kromschröder IFD 258 ignites and supervises industrial gas burners using ionization or UVS flame detection. Ionization sensing supports continuous operation; UVS sensing is for intermittent operation.

Control Functions

Immediate lockout or restart after flame failure, selected by the control’s switch setting.
Adjustable flame switch-off threshold from 2 to 20 µA.
Integrated ignition is available on versions with the I suffix.

Ordering Options

Supply versions are 100, 120, 200 or 230 V AC at 50/60 Hz. Start-up safety times of 3, 5 or 10 seconds are ordered variants, not an adjustable time range. The manufacturer does not specify a burner-capacity limit for the IFD 258 application.
