Product Overview

MAXON VALUPAK-II is a packaged gas burner developed for process-air heating in textile machinery, printing machinery and dryers. It combines the burner and combustion-air supply in a compact arrangement, making it relevant to equipment where the available space and individual heating-zone duty influence the burner choice.

The design is intended for balanced-pressure applications. Compared with the earlier VALUPAK offering, the manufacturer describes improved CO control across the firing range and the availability of a pilot connection. Natural-gas and propane configurations are available, with the fuel arrangement matched to the selected assembly.

A Package Matched to the Machine

VALUPAK-II uses an all-metal construction and supports flame-rod or UV supervision. Blower and motor options allow the package to be matched to the electrical supply and required duty. The burner size and blower designation should be reviewed together: a burner nameplate without its blower details does not fully describe the heating capability or installation requirements.

01

Textile machines

The manufacturer specifically identifies textile machinery as a VALUPAK-II application. The burner heats the process air used by the machine, while the circulation and exhaust arrangement establish the pressure at the firing point. This makes the balanced-pressure condition a central selection input.

02

Printing machinery

Printing equipment often needs a compact heat source fitted into a defined machine envelope. VALUPAK-II provides a packaged starting point for the air-heating section. Required duty, mounting space and gas availability are reviewed together with the machine’s drying and exhaust conditions.

03

Industrial dryers

For a dryer or OEM air-heater module, the duty follows from the airflow and required temperature rise. The selected assembly must also suit the lowest operating load. Confirming those conditions early helps identify the burner/blower combination before the surrounding equipment layout is finalised.

Choosing the Configuration

The burner size alone does not define capacity: the blower designation is also required. Use the detailed data sheet for the selected 50 Hz or 60 Hz assembly.

Product FAQs

Selection, supply and retrofit guidance for your VALUPAK-II project.

VALUPAK-II selection

Is VALUPAK-II suitable for a compact dryer or heating zone?

VALUPAK-II is intended for applications where a compact burner arrangement is useful, including suitable drying and process-heating equipment. Selection still depends on the required duty, chamber conditions and available mounting space.

Provide the process description, airflow, temperatures, fuel pressure and opening dimensions. For a printing or textile dryer, describe each zone and its operating range rather than only the total machine capacity.

Why do you need the blower designation and motor frequency?

The burner size alone does not fully identify the available performance. Blower selection and electrical frequency affect the air supply and the applicable rating.

For an existing unit, send a clear photo of both the burner and motor identification. For a new installation, state the available voltage and frequency and whether the required blower or controls are already part of the machine.

Supply & retrofit

What should be included in the quotation?

Specify the burner size and blower configuration, then identify any ignition, flame supervision, fuel-train or control equipment required with it. Compact packaging does not automatically mean every control component is included.

If the request is for a spare part, send the installed assembly identification and the component location. This helps distinguish a component replacement from a complete burner proposal.

What information helps assess a retrofit?

Include the burner and motor nameplates, installation photos, opening dimensions and the available space around the assembly. Existing airflow, chamber pressure and the minimum required firing duty are useful for a compact dryer review.

Available P&ID and electrical drawings help clarify fuel connections and machine controls. Note any changes to zone ventilation or production speed, because these can change the heating requirement even when the mounting space stays the same.

How are price and lead time confirmed?

Price and lead time depend on the selected configuration, supply scope, quantity and delivery country. Include any planned shutdown date so current availability and the required delivery date can be discussed before ordering.

What if we do not have all the technical information yet?

Start with the application, whether the installation is new or a retrofit, and any model details or photos you have. Mention available P&ID or electrical drawings in the enquiry and share them by email during follow-up.
