Product Overview

Siemens RAR9 uses a silicon photocell to supervise yellow-burning oil flames. The detector has screw terminals for a customer-supplied cable and is designed for Siemens burner controls.

Product Specification

  • Silicon photovoltaic element generates a flame-current signal under visible oil-flame illumination.
  • The photocell is insensitive to infrared radiation; glowing combustion-chamber firebrick does not generate a flame signal.
  • Dust-resistant duroplast housing with protective glass over the photocell.
  • RAR9(1) includes a radiused flange and clamp; RAR9(2) includes a straight flange and clamp. Mounting hardware is excluded from the base RAR9.
  • Recommended cable: H05VV-F 2 × 0.75 mm². AGG09 is the cable-entry kit for the specified IP40 arrangement.
