Siemens QRB3 is a normal-sensitivity photoresistive detector for yellow-burning oil flames. Its 17 mm metal protective tube accepts a separately supplied detector cable.

- Metal protective tube, 17 mm outside diameter; secured using a flange and clamp.
- The base QRB3 is supplied without mounting hardware. QRB3(1) includes flange and clamp; QRB3S is the high-sensitivity version.
- Recommended detector cable: H05VV-F 2 × 0.75 mm², supplied separately.
- Peak spectral sensitivity is approximately 600 nm. The detector resistance falls as visible flame intensity increases.
- The QRB3 can respond to glowing refractory surfaces; sighting and extraneous-light checks follow the burner-control instructions.
- Operating ambient temperature: −20 to +60 °C.
