Product Overview

Honeywell C7061A1053 is a dynamic self-check UV flame detector with 1 in. NPT mounting. It uses 8 ft (2.4 m) leadwires.

Product specification

The fixed-lead version uses 8 ft (2.4 m) color-coded leadwires and a standard quartz viewing window. The current C7061A manual specifies a 1 in. NPT flange with a 3/4 in. bushing adapter. The UV tube, viewing window and shutter assembly are serviceable components.

Control and installation

Use the matching R7861A amplifier and compatible Honeywell flame-safeguard control. The current C7061 manual also documents SLATE R8001S1051 combinations. Select the complete detector, amplifier and control arrangement for the required flame-failure response; the detector alone does not define a universal response time.

The shutter must be aligned as specified in the installation instructions. Flame sighting and start-up checks must distinguish the supervised flame from ignition sparks and adjacent burners.
